r squaredcircle is a common way of referring to r/SquaredCircle, a Reddit community where fans discuss professional wrestling. Its posts cover promotions such as WWE and AEW, individual wrestlers, major shows, and the wider wrestling business. The community is also known informally as Wreddit.
For newcomers, the volume of conversations can be useful but confusing. News, opinions, spoilers, and posting restrictions can make the feed hard to navigate.
Whether you want to follow a live show or ask about wrestling history, knowing where to post makes the experience easier. This guide explains its features, posting rules, spoiler precautions, common problems, and other communities worth considering.
What Is r squaredcircle?
r/SquaredCircle is a public subreddit, meaning a topic-based community hosted on Reddit. It focuses on professional wrestling and its characters, storylines, and matches. It is not intended as a general forum for Olympic-style wrestling or other competitive grappling sports.
Members discuss companies, performers, creative decisions, television broadcasts, live events, and wrestling history. Discussion ranges from immediate match reactions to detailed storyline analysis.
The subreddit is run under Reddit’s platform rules and its own volunteer moderation policies. It does not sell tickets or stream full events. Despite the nickname Wreddit, r/Wreddit is a separate subreddit.
How Does the Community Work?
Each topic usually begins with a post. Members then respond in comments, reply to one another, and vote on contributions. Replies form branching conversations, so readers can follow specific arguments.
Reddit’s sorting options help determine what appears first. Hot emphasizes currently active posts; New shows recent submissions; Top highlights highly voted content within a selected period. Votes do not establish accuracy.
Readers can usually view public posts without registering. To create posts, comment, vote, save content to an account, or join a subreddit, they need to sign in to Reddit. No separate membership or payment is required, although posting restrictions may apply.
The community can be accessed through Reddit’s website or its mobile apps. The experience is broadly similar on a desktop computer, Android phone, or iPhone, although controls and menus can look different.
What Wrestling Discussions Can You Find?
WWE, AEW, and Other Promotions
WWE and All Elite Wrestling generate discussions about weekly programming, rivalries, championship matches, and major events. Members also bring up New Japan Pro-Wrestling, independent organizations, older promotions, and international wrestling scenes. Coverage changes with current events.
News, Results, and Industry Developments
Posts may discuss announced matches, injuries, contracts, television arrangements, interviews, and other business developments. Some information comes directly from a company or wrestler; other claims may originate with reporters or commentators. Treat backstage rumors and speculation differently from confirmed announcements.
History, Analysis, and Fan Opinions
A discussion might compare memorable matches, examine a performer’s career, or revisit a controversial storyline. These conversations are valuable for learning context, but reactions are subjective. A highly praised match may still disappoint some viewers, and a disputed storyline can inspire worthwhile analysis long after it ends.

Main Features of the SquaredCircle Subreddit
Daily Discussion Threads
The recurring Wreddit Daily Discussion thread provides space for shorter questions and observations that do not need a separate post. Fans use it for recommendations, basic questions, and minor observations. For example, asking where to begin with a wrestler’s career often belongs in this thread rather than in a separate post.
Live and Post-Show Threads
Event threads bring fans together before, during, and after wrestling broadcasts. Live threads can move quickly, with comments reacting to developments as they happen. Post-show threads offer a better setting for fuller opinions once a broadcast ends. They do not stream broadcasts; viewers need to watch through whatever authorized television or streaming option carries the event in their region.
Post Search and Sorting
Searching for a wrestler, promotion, match, or event can uncover older conversations. Sorting by New helps with current developments, while Top can surface prominent past discussions. Titles may use abbreviations or spoiler-safe wording.
Comments, Voting, and Replies
Comment threads allow questions and counterarguments beneath an original submission. Votes influence visibility, but they do not verify facts or measure the quality of wrestling objectively. Less popular opinions may still be thoughtful.
Community Rules and Moderator Tools
The subreddit maintains a detailed rules page and uses moderators to review reports, remove submissions, and enforce standards. Read the rules before posting, not just after a removal.
How to Find Discussions and Follow Events
Start by opening the SquaredCircle community on Reddit. Read its rules and check any highlighted threads, which may point toward current events or recurring discussions.
If you are following a particular program, try searching for its title together with the date or the words “live discussion” or “post-show.” For wrestlers, try current and former ring names.
A practical browsing sequence is:
- Check the community highlights for current event discussions.
- Sort by New when looking for a developing story, or use search for earlier coverage.
- Open the existing thread rather than assuming every headline needs a new post.
- Read the original source or context before sharing a claim elsewhere.
If you want updates in your Reddit feed, joining the subreddit makes its posts eligible to appear there. Reddit’s ranking system does not show every post.
How to Post and Comment Constructively
Before submitting, decide whether your contribution is news, a substantial analysis, or a simple question. The first two may justify a standalone post when they meet the rules. Brief opinions, basic recommendations, and quick factual questions often fit better in the Daily Discussion thread.
A good text submission explains its point rather than relying on a one-line title. For example, a discussion about a wrestler’s recent booking could identify several matches or storyline developments and ask a specific question.
For news, favor the original report, interview, or company statement. Community rules favor primary sourcing rather than a screenshot of somebody repeating another person’s report. Avoid changing a headline to make a rumor sound confirmed. Check whether someone has already posted the same update.
When commenting, address the wrestling argument rather than the person making it. Disagreement does not require insults. Use reporting tools rather than escalating hostile exchanges.
Community Guidelines and the Spoiler Policy
Spoilers During the First 24 Hours
SquaredCircle’s spoiler policy applies for 24 hours after a show airs. During that window, do not reveal match results, returns, or other significant developments in a post title. A spoiler-related submission should identify the show, include a spoiler warning in the title, and use Reddit’s spoiler marking option.
For example, a title such as “[WWE Raw SPOILERS] Main Event Reaction” avoids announcing the winner. Applying only Reddit’s spoiler blur is not enough if the title itself gives away a major development. In comments outside spoiler-marked threads, use Reddit’s spoiler formatting; the community’s rules identify an exception for injuries.
Respectful Conduct and Relevant Topics
The rules prohibit personal insults, hate speech, trolling, harassment, and attempts to provoke hostility between fan groups. Do not bait users or derail discussions.
Content should remain connected to professional wrestling. The subreddit restricts low-effort posts, ordinary memes, and material about wrestlers that has little to do with their professional activities. Piracy links and copied paywalled material are also prohibited.
Original Sources, Reposts, and Self-Promotion
For news and media, the community generally asks contributors to share primary sources rather than recycled summaries. Reposts may be removed, particularly when a major announcement has already received a discussion thread. Self-promotion is restricted: the rules generally limit links to a contributor’s own work to 10% or less of their posting and conversation history, with stated exceptions for wrestlers and organizations.
Moderators can remove content or suspend accounts for violations. Read the current rules before appealing a decision.
How to Avoid Spoilers Across Time Zones
Fans in the United Kingdom, Asia, and elsewhere may watch U.S. broadcasts the next day because of time differences or delayed access. A thread posted when a show ends may therefore reveal results to people who have not begun watching. Live threads and Reddit recommendations can reveal results long before every viewer has caught up.
Spoiler rules reduce some accidental exposure, but they do not promise a spoiler-free browsing experience. Live threads openly discuss results.
If you watch events on delay, consider muting the community temporarily, turning off relevant notifications, and avoiding live or post-show threads until you finish watching. Even marked posts can reveal hints.
Privacy, Safety, and Checking Wrestling Claims
Reddit is a public discussion platform, not a private fan club. Public posts and usernames can be seen without an account. Profile settings cannot necessarily hide content from its original thread or search results.
Use a username that does not expose your identity if privacy matters. Avoid publishing personal contact details, travel arrangements, or private information about other people. Be cautious with unsolicited stream, ticket, or giveaway offers.
Reliability also matters. Repeated rumors are not proof. Check the original announcement, full interview, or reporting source, and notice whether a headline claims certainty that its source does not provide.
For harassment or rule-breaking material, use the Report option on the post or comment. For questions about a moderation decision, use modmail instead of starting a public confrontation. Reports do not guarantee removal.

Advantages and Limitations of r squaredcircle
Advantages
The main benefit is breadth. A reader can encounter discussion of weekly television, major events, historical matches, and smaller promotions in one place. Event threads also make it possible to compare reactions with fans who interpreted a moment differently.
Archived threads preserve earlier reactions to storylines, including predictions that later proved wrong. Visitors can browse before joining and compare differing perspectives without needing to take part in every debate.
Limitations
Fast-moving threads can be difficult to follow, and the most visible opinion is not always the most informed. Repeated arguments between promotion fan groups may distract from useful analysis. Short questions may be removed from the main feed even when asked in good faith; the Daily Discussion thread is often a more suitable place.
Spoilers, rumors, and misleading links remain possible. It is for discussion, not verified reporting.
Common Problems and How to Resolve Them
Why Was My Post Removed?
A removal may involve an unmarked spoiler, a repeated news story, a vague headline, or a question better suited to Daily Discussion. Read any moderator message and compare it with the current rules. If the decision seems mistaken, explain the issue politely through modmail.
Why Can’t I Post or Comment?
New accounts may encounter Reddit’s anti-spam measures or community-specific restrictions. Other possibilities include a locked thread, temporary rate limits, or an account moderation action. Check account notices and whether the thread is still open. If you believe an automated filter made a mistake, a brief message to moderators is more useful than repeatedly submitting identical text.
Why Can’t I Find a Thread?
The post may have an unexpected title, may not be highlighted, or may have been removed. Search using the show’s name and date, then try sorting by New. Check the relevant event thread.
What If Someone Breaks the Rules?
Use Reddit’s reporting feature and select the closest reason. You can also block an account if you want to limit contact. Community conduct rules apply to everyone.
Alternatives for Wrestling Fans
r/WWE
This Reddit community concentrates on WWE programming, performers, and storylines. It is a practical choice for viewers who mainly watch Raw, SmackDown, and WWE premium live events. Check its rules separately; permission to post a certain kind of content in one subreddit does not carry over to another.
r/AEWOfficial
Fans interested primarily in All Elite Wrestling can use this subreddit for AEW-related news, reactions, and event conversations. It is better suited to readers who prefer AEW-focused conversation rather than a broad, mixed-promotion feed.
r/njpw
This subreddit focuses on New Japan Pro-Wrestling. It is relevant to readers following Japanese wrestling, tournaments, and the promotion’s performers. Check its own rules and spoiler conventions.
r/Wreddit
Despite the similar nickname, r/Wreddit is a distinct wrestling discussion subreddit, not another name for the SquaredCircle page. It offers a different moderation environment and conversation mix. Compare its threads and rules first.
Final Thoughts
r squaredcircle gives professional wrestling fans a place to follow conversations across promotions, revisit memorable moments, and exchange reactions during major events. It requires no special membership, and its ongoing conversations can help new viewers understand why particular matches or creative decisions matter to other fans.
The trade-offs are strict posting rules, potentially heated debates, and the risk of encountering spoilers or unverified claims. Start with the rules and Daily Discussion thread before joining event conversations.
FAQs
What is r squaredcircle on Reddit?
It is r/SquaredCircle, a public subreddit dedicated to professional wrestling. Members share news, discuss matches and storylines, and react to events involving WWE, AEW, and other promotions. It is a discussion forum rather than a streaming platform.
Is r squaredcircle free to use?
Yes. Browsing the public subreddit and participating through a standard Reddit account do not require a SquaredCircle subscription. Reddit offers optional paid features, but they are not necessary for ordinary wrestling discussions.
Can I browse r squaredcircle without a Reddit account?
Generally, yes. Public discussions can be viewed without signing in, although some interface features or access prompts may differ by device. You need an account to post, comment, vote, and join the community.
Does r squaredcircle cover both WWE and AEW?
Yes. The community discusses both promotions alongside other wrestling organizations and historical topics. The amount of attention each company receives changes according to current shows, news, and the interests of participating fans.
How do I find live wrestling discussion threads?
Check the community’s highlighted posts or search for the event name together with “live discussion.” If you cannot find one, look under New or search using the show date. Avoid these threads when watching on delay.
What are the spoiler rules on r squaredcircle?
For 24 hours after a show airs, spoiler posts require appropriate labeling and titles that do not reveal surprises. Use spoiler formatting for sensitive comments outside designated threads, and check the current rules for specific exceptions.
Why are some posts removed from r squaredcircle?
Common reasons include duplicate topics, weak text submissions, incorrectly labeled spoilers, and content meant for recurring discussion threads. Review the removal notice before reposting, and contact moderators through modmail if you believe there was a mistake.
Are there other Reddit communities for wrestling fans?
Yes. r/WWE, r/AEWOfficial, r/njpw, and r/Wreddit offer alternatives with different topic emphases. Their rules are independent, so a post suitable for one community may not meet another community’s requirements.
